When we go through difficult or traumatic experiences, the impact often lingers in ways we don’t always understand. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety, body tension, or emotional triggers that feel “out of the blue.” Traditional talk therapy can be incredibly helpful, but words don’t always reach the deeper layers where trauma lives. This is why I’m so passionate about Brainspotting.

Brainspotting is a therapeutic approach that uses eye position to access unprocessed memories and emotions stored in the brain and body. By identifying “brainspots”—points in the visual field connected to these stored experiences—it helps us process what has been stuck, creating space for relief and healing.

When I was training in Brainspotting, I had to experience it myself in order to fully learn the method. To be honest, I was surprised at how powerful it was. In my own session, I found myself processing feelings of guilt and shame I didn’t even realize I had been carrying. It was an incredibly effective and moving experience, and it gave me firsthand insight into how transformative this method can be.

What I love about Brainspotting is that it’s gentle and client-led. You don’t have to retell or relive every detail of your trauma for it to work. Instead, it allows your brain and body to do the healing naturally, in their own way and at their own pace.

The benefits are profound: deeper emotional release, a calmer nervous system, and a renewed sense of freedom. For many, Brainspotting feels like finally opening a door that’s been locked for years—allowing healing to flow in and take root.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to invite you to reach out for a free consultation call. It’s a chance to learn more, ask questions, and see if Brainspotting might be the right fit for your healing journey. You don’t have to carry the weight alone—support and relief are available, starting today.
